For the second time, Rep. Upton, who sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, opposed the recovery package – voting against the final conference report. The recovery package offers a tremendous opportunity to increase the production of wind and solar energy, train workers for green jobs, make buildings and homes more energy efficient, modernize the electricity grid and help people purchase more efficient appliances.
