The Kalamazoo Gazette ran a great story today about a new program that Kalamazoo Valley Community College is launching later this year that will start training technicians to repair and install wind turbines. Jeff Patton, chairman of KVCC's Board of Trustees, said today:
The demand for wind power – and solar energy, as well – in this county is about to explode. That equates to good-paying jobs in Michigan and the transition to being an energy-independent nation.
